Songwriting is not the easiest of things to do for a novice. But options are available. We are privileged to have access to several songwriter's books. Songwriters books are basically a book of songs written but never used. A good example of this is Valley of Darkness. It was written in 2006 by Gary Neil. Nearly 20 years later, it has been remastered in it's own gothic style using band lab. It's always interesting to find unpublished songs from the 90s, especially  House and Techno.
